In the past few months, the Gmail Labs team has been busy progressing out new features for Google's email service, the newest of which gives users a serving hand by keeping a to-do list. Gmail tasks are easy to use, and in just a few clicks users can enter a task, save it and start over again. All they have to do is login, access their Gmail Settings, enable the Tasks option and save the changes. This will add the Tasks option beneath the Contacts link, and clicking it will open a window related to the chat window.
Furthermore, users will also be able to translate emails into tasks, by simply accessing the More Actions feature, and the Add to Tasks option. For users who are keen on using keyboard shortcuts, they can also enable the keyboard shortcuts option from Settings. To access To-Do List We can use 'shift + t' as shortcut.Tasks is Google's way of production it easy for users to keep follow of what they want to do, or of what they've previously done, and it most surely answers the prayers of a lot of Gmail users.
Enabling tasks for Gmail is just one of the things Gmail Labs has been hectic working on lately. Other features, such as Voice and Video Chat, but also Calendar and Docs, have also been added as a result of user command. While some of these features are still beta and need some further adjustments, it seems Gmail is working hard on improving its popularity and on making the user experience more dynamic, and more personalized.
