The PageRank technology assesses a score to a web site based on pre-determined criteria set by Google. After you have downloaded the Google ToolBar,you should see a new Google search bar in your browser that has tons of fabulous features. Right now, we will just give attention to on the PageRank bar that you should notice within the Toolbar that looks something like this:The bar can be green, white, green and white or contain no color at all.

If you don't see a bar that looks like this when you open your browser, follows these steps:

Notice the Google Logo and the down arrow that follows it such as this:
Click on the down arrow.
Click on options.
In the center of the Toolbar Options screen, notice an area entitled "PageInformation".
Be sure that the "PageRank Display" box is checked.
Click apply.
Click OK.

Now you see the PageRank bar in the Google Toolbar when your browser is open.
