Google New Search App: iOS Notification

Google today updated its Search app for iOS, addition a slew of innovative features for both the core hunt experience as well as Google Now. You can download the innovative version now straight from Apple’s App Store.

The update mainly focuses on Google Now. Here’s what’s new:

  • Notifications – Get notify when it’s time to go.
  • Reminders – Never remember to put out the waste.
  • New cards – See Tickets, Boarding Passes & more.
  • Handsfree voice – Just say “OK Google” to search – requires iPhone 4s or later.

First up, notification carry you information without you have to open the app. iOS users can now be learned when to go away for their subsequently appointment or event, if their flight is running late, and how to catch the last train home.

Reminders go additional by letting you request the app to stay in mind things for you.   • One touch signs in if you use other Google apps.
  • Better voice over convenience.

We’ve been saying for a while now that Google look for iOS has been casing behind the Android version. This update doesn’t exactly bring the two to parity, but it’s surely a huge improvement for Apple users that narrows the gap.
