Strike with Penguin?

If your website is hit by Penguin, you will observe a fall in the traffic by today or tomorrow. To get well from the update, you will have to disown bad links or remove them physically. Since, Penguin is an automatic process, filing a review request will not help. Your website will get well when Google will see that every bad link has been detached.
